The name “Tahr” is derived from a Himalayan game that lives very high amidst ice and snow under extremely adverse conditions in the Himalayan region. Nearly out of reach and well protected, these are particularly proud and robust animals. This game inspired us and served as a model for a robust all-round rifle: the STRASSER RS SOLO EVOLUTION Tahr. You can currently buy it in the colour black-gray and in different configurations. These stocks are made of laminated wood, so they practically do not warp when exposed to moisture and are very resistant to bad weather. With this stock shape, the front and rear stock also provide new features. The front stock has a kind of finger groove, so that it offers a very firm grip and can be guided excellently.

This allows you to have absolute control and target recognition in any kind of hunting.  The rear stock features a straight comb, no cheek piece and no lateral bend, as well as a particularly ergonomic pistol grip. A thumb ball is located on both sides of this handle. Thus, this stock is intended and suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. The sling swivels are easy to remove with a quick “push in” and you can reinsert them just as easily. In addition, we have also created two additional inserting options with the model Tahr – on the right side as well as on the left side on the rear stock. An individual attachment of the sling swivels and thus the carrying strap offers you additional comfort and allows you to always optimally wear your Tahr in the most diverse areas, on the most diverse and varied hunts. This means that you can shoulder the weapon comfortably and in a manner that is adapted to any situation.
