Marlin's XT series is ideal for target practice and small game. These bolt-actions are reliable, accurate and fun to shoot. They have a thumb safety with a red cocking indicator, and Marlin's Pro-Fire Adjustable trigger allows the shooter to customize the trigger pull weight between 3 and 6 lbs. Micro-Groove rifling ensures pinpoint accuracy on the range or in the field. The receiver is grooved for scope mount and is drilled/tapped for scope bases. The Youth Series is designed exclusively for young shooters. It features a shorter stock, shorter trigger reach, and smaller grip, making it easier for a youth to acquire and hold the proper sight picture. This 22YR Youth model has a youth-sized black synthetic stock with full pistol grip, molded-in swivel studs, and stippled grip areas.
